Just a week ago, jam rock veterans Gov't Mule hosted quite the party at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, which also featured opening sets from moe. and Blackberry Smoke. The set featured a wide variety of Mule originals and classic covers, including the Allman Brothers' "Kind of Bird," The Beatles' "And Your Bird Can Sing," moe.'s "Opium," and even a double dose of Pink Floyd with "One of These Days" and "Fearless." The highlight of the set was easily the encore, when members of moe. and Blackberry Smoke joined Mule for a jaw-dropping rendition of Bob Dylan's "I Shall Be Released." Fortunately, full HD video of this set has surfaced via Rob McKeever (YouTube) and can be watched below. A complete setlist from the set can also be found below.
