It's hard to believe that we're already mid-November, and we're already looking into the 2018 festival season. Just a few weeks ago. SweetWater 420 Festival dropped its initial 2018 lineup, leaving many of us wandering what Wanee Festival, which is the same weekend, would have in store. Last year, the two festival lineups were very similar, leading to some tough decisions for festival goers across the country. Earlier this morning, Wanee released another killer lineup for 2018, led by the likes of Widespread Panic x2 and Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band x2.

Additional performers on the initial lineup include Allman Brothers alumni like Marc Quinones' Eat a Bunch of Peaches project with special guest George Porter Jr., Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, and Berry Oakley's Indigenous Suspects. Chris Robinson Brotherhood, North Mississippi Allstars, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, The Marcus King Band, and BIG Something will provide a killer sample of the modern jam scene's finest. Pink Talking Fish will also present an ABB tribute set with their "tied to the Whipping Post" show. Wanee will kick off April 19 in Live Oak, FL.
