The Southern Belles Announce 2016 Fall Tour Dates August 18, 2016 15:09

Southern psychedelic rockers The Southern Belles just announced a twenty-one date tour extending end of August to end of October and bringing the band up and down the east coast. Along with this announcement came the release of their newest music video for “Déjà vu” filmed at The Broadberry in RVA. The video is a sample of what’s to come nearly half a year in advance of their third full-length album. As “the first fully collaborative song written by the four of us together,” says bassist Andrew Carper, “Déjà vu” follows the pattern of the newest material the Belles have been releasing- not so much songs as multi-section compositions that change direction and start in a different place than where they land. “Everywhere,” the first of these new sonic journeys was debuted during their set at Lockn 2015 and will very likely be featured along side “Déjà vu” on the forthcoming album, which just went into pre-production last month.

“’Déjà vu’ is a specimen in the new crop of tunes we have been working on,” says front man Adrian Ciucci. “The new material feels more mature and unique, like we’re really beginning to form the sound and style that we’ve been progressing towards.”

Anchored by two of their final First Fridays- a monthly gig they’ve held down for 4 years- in Richmond, touring the Carolinas and helping the band wrap up festival season, this tour will also feature some excellent regional support on almost every date.
