SlossFest Will Feature Chris Stapleton, Arcade Fire, & Jason Isbell January 17, 2018 09:55

These is no question that the music scene in Birmingham, AL is currently thriving as much as any city in the country. Sloss Music & Arts Festival is undoubtedly a major factor in that equation. The fourth year event, which has featured the likes of Widespread Panic, Sturgill Simpson, Alabama Shakes, The Flaming Lips, and Primus, revealed its 41-band lineup earlier this morning. This year's performers include Chris Stapleton, Arcade Fire, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, GRiZ, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Vance Joy, The War on Drugs, Moon Taxi, and many more on July 14th-15th. CBDB Announces SlossFest Afterparty At Zydeco July 11, 2017 11:28

One of the southeast's hottest bands, CBDB, is scheduled for yet another major festival appearance at Birmingham's SlossFest this weekend. Already having played Okeechobee, SweetWater 420 FestSummer Camp, and both weekends of Electric Forest, Saturday afternoon's Sloss performance (The Steam Stage - 1:30 PM) continues some tremendous momentum for the Tuscaloosa-born jam band. And just in case fans were wanting a little more, the band has announced a late night set at Zydeco on Saturday night. The afterparty will begin immediately following Widespread Panic's headlining set at SlossFest, and tickets can be purchase by clicking the link below.

Ever since the initial lineup announcement from Sloss Music & Arts Festival, there has been much anticipation and excitement for the Birmingham-based event.  Many have wondered which night to expect performances from headliners such as Widespread Panic, Sturgill Simpson, and the Alabama Shakes.  Earlier today, SlossFest released its official daily lineup, which can be seen on the graphic below.  The festival is scheduled for Saturday, July 15th - Sunday, July 16th at the historic Sloss Furnaces in downtown Birmingham, AL

CBDB Joins Stacked Lineup For Birmingham's SlossFest February 22, 2017 21:24

Birmingham's SlossFest added fuel to an already hot lineup on Wednesday night, as Tuscaloosa's CBDB was added to the 2017 lineup.  Arguably the hottest up-and-coming band in Alabama, CBDB has already made plenty of noise in 2017 with previously announced appearances at SweetWater 420 Fest, Summer Camp Music Festival, and Electric Forest.  Birmingham fans can also catch CBDB at Zydeco on Tuesday, February 28th for a special Fat Tuesday throw down.

SlossFest Reveals Exciting Lineup For 2017 January 31, 2017 08:05

The 3rd annual Sloss Music & Arts Festival has revealed its lineup for 2017, and this year looks as exciting as ever.  Widespread Panic, Alabama ShakesOdesza, Sturgill Simpson, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats are just a few of the 40 performers listed for the rapidly growing festival in Birmingham, AL.  SlossFest is a two-day music and arts festival which is scheduled for Saturday, July 15th - Sunday, July 16th.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 3, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster and the festival website. Advance prices are $115 general admission, $180 for an Iron pass (includes access to air-conditioned tents), $325 VIP (includes access to air-conditioned tents, separate viewing areas at two stages and other perks).

Prices will continue to hike as tickets at each level are sold, increasing to $135 and $155 general admission, $210 and $225 for an Iron Pass. VIP prices will remain the same. Information on payment plans is available on the Sloss Fest website.  Stay tuned for further details!
