All Things PGroove: An Interview With Brock Butler & Matt McDonald January 12, 2017 12:45
Matt: Very true, you have to bring the heat on NYE. That’s what was so great about last year doing the destination shows. Every weekend we played got treated like a NYE run. Let’s face it, you should try to bring that energy to every single show no matter what the weekend is or city you may be in.

Press Release via Perpetual Groove
Perpetual Groove is proud to announce their first full-length tour in over three years. Following the hiatus, the band enjoyed a limited number of two-night destination runs in 2015, all to sellout crowds. After working in the studio to develop a new EP(set for release later this summer), PGroove is ready to hit the road and bring new music to it’s fans! Tour kicks off at home August 19th, at the beloved Georgia Theatre in Athens, GA with a quick run up to Chattanooga, TN on August 20th to play the Southern Brewers Festival.
September will bring the group back to it’s Southern city of origin- Savannah, Georgia, for two nights at the Lucas Theatre. Come celebrate this special weekend in the town where Brock Butler and Adam Perry originally founded Perpetual Groove, as students of Savannah College of Art & Design. After the formation, the band would quickly become the defacto house band at local watering hole JJ Cagney’s, where they would hone their unique sound before touring nationally. Perpetual Groove could not be more thrilled to perform at the beautiful Lucas Theatre, their first show in Savannah since 2008!
The band will then work it’s way up the mid Atlantic until a performance at Catskill Chill Music Festival and drop down through Ohio, Nashville, and Charlotte. In October, the band heads to Colorado for a week of shows, wrapping up with a two-night run in Denver at Cervante’s Masterpiece. After celebrating Halloween in Austin for the first time, they'll spend two more nights in Texas before heading across the Gulf Coast with plays in New Orleans and Pensacola. The band returns to their traditional early December Sunshine State run in Florida with a night in Tampa, followed by two nights at a band and fan favorite, Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale. Perpetual Groove will wrap up 2016 and ring in the New Year with another triple play at Atlanta’s Terminal West!
