The Original Meters have only made a handful of appearances in recent years. In addition to performances at New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and New Orleans Voodoo Fest, the band reunited for a rare club show in May of 2012, selling out the 1000 capacity venue in New Orleans in an hour.
