Sigh In July Music & Arts Festival Announces Full Lineup May 31, 2017 11:23

Universal Sigh, Ever Upward Entertainment, and Live Wire Athens have announced the full lineup for the third Annual Sigh In July Music & Arts Festival! The festival takes place all day and night on July 21 & 22 at Live Wire in Athens, GA. Headliners Universal Sigh and Voodoo Visionary will be joined by more than a dozen acts including Athens based jazz wizards, Kenosha Kid, Groove Fetish and Jahman Brahman of North Carolina, and Cycles from Denver, Colorado. The bill is heavily supported by many local Athens and Atlanta bands. Creative workshops, live painting artists, community panels, food vendors and more to be announced!

Early bird 2-day passes are available for only $10 until June 1st when prices increase.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit local non-profits Nuçi’s Space & We’re Hear For You. More information on the non-profits and the full festival lineup can be found below.

We’re hEAR For You (WHFY) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide concertgoers, musicians and music industry professionals with free hearing protection and hearing conservation education, while promoting premium audiological services and products to create safe live music experiences. 
WHFY offers free hearing screenings through the University of Georgia Speech & Hearing Clinic and distributes over 100,000 pairs of free earplugs annually at music venues, music festivals, on tour with bands and at educational events!
WHFY currently provides FREE earplugs in the following cities:
Athens, GA – Atlanta, GA - Nashville, TN – Denver, CO – Boulder, CO – Austin, TX

A local Non-Profit Organization, Nuçi's Space provides a valuable space for musicians battling brain illness, access to affordable professional care, and community awareness for suicide prevention!  The Nuçi's Space mission is to prevent suicide. With a focus on musicians, Nuçi’s Space advocates for and helps to alleviate the suffering for those living with a brain illness and fights to end the stigma of mental illness. Their resource center, which doubles as a rehearsal space and safe space for musicians seeking support and guidance, is made possible by the Nuçi Phillips Memorial Foundation. This Foundation offers ways of treating and supporting musicians who suffer from depression and other such disorders.
