Jam Cruise is an annual five-day, music cruise, featuring jam, funk, rock, jazz, and electronic performances, as well as musical workshops, activities and other programs. Produced by Cloud 9 Adventures, Jam Cruise has dispatched fifteen cruises since 2004. The cruise departs from PortMiami, Florida and stops in ports throughout the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. Jam Cruise features musical collaborations and musician-led jam sessions throughout the event.
The schedule is designed to allow participants to collaborate with performing artists in venues such as the “Jam Room” and “Jazz Lounge,” where the musicians rotate in and out of live stage sessions. During days at sea, music begins playing at noon and continues on until the early hours of the morning. Days when the ship is stopped at a port, the music typically begins around 5pm as the ship departs from that port. Jam Cruise also runs theme nights, artist activities, and autograph signings on the ship.
