Riverfront Park Music & Arts Festival: Selma, AL: Monday 9/7 September 2, 2015 10:00

If you're a music fan in Central Alabama, you probably already know that you need to be in Selma on Labor Day.  The Blackbelt Benefit Group is scheduled to hold it's first annual Riverfront Park Music & Art's Festival, an all-day, family-friendly Labor Day celebration with a little something for everyone.  Starting at 12 PM, you can come enjoy food, educational workshops, a kids zone, arts and crafts vendors, and music at the new Riverfront Park Amphitheatre in Selma, AL. Admission is $10 and kids 12 & under are free. The lineup includes: Dead Fingers, John Bull Band, Kenny Brown Band, and Dirty Dozen Brass Band. There will be a fireworks show over the Edmund Pettus Bridge after dark! 
The one-day festival is a fundraiser for the Blackbert Benefit Group's community garden project, as well as Grow Selma, another organization that is established to handle operations at the garden. The garden is will raise money to fund itself in en effort to raise awareness of sustainability.
