Veteran southern rock group Bloodkin returns to its stomping grounds of Athens on Saturday night, as the band celebrates the 9th annual "Bloodkin & Friends" show at Athens' famed 40 Watt Club. This year is stacked, as expected, with the likes of Eric Carter, Donna Hopkins, Daniel Hutchens, Jon Mills, Todd Nance, John Neff, Scott Nicholson, Aaron Phillips, Adam Poulin, and William Tonks.

Last year's two set performance was highlighted by a variety of Bloodkin originals, as well as several tunes from the late Michael Houser (Widespread Panic) catalog, and an encore which included The Rolling Stones' "Happy."
