It has been quite the news worthy day for jam rockers Gov't Mule, which has confirmed a new studio album and revealed a handful of additional spring tour dates dubbed as the "Come What May" tour. The first of the new dates on the Come What May tour is a special performance at New York City’s Central Park SummerStage on May 17 with the Chris Robinson Brotherhood.  This run also includes stops in Upper Darby, PA, Washington DC, St. Louis, Kansas City, Minneapolis and Milwaukee.

The press release announcing the new headlining shows confirms that the band is now finishing up its latest album, which is due this summer. They will presumably hit the road during those months to promote the record. Fans who purchase tickets for the shows will receive a download of the upcoming album.
